BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & TERRITORY SALES
TAKE A SEAT, LET'S BEGIN.
ABOUT
First, let me say there aren't many things that scare me. I lived a month in a treehouse in the jungle in Costa Rica, chilled with Bono with ease, and ate crickets on a cracker without hesitation (when in Rome, right?). The inner conversation I often have with myself asks, "Will I regret it if I don't (fill in the blank) at this moment?" Taking risks and a constant desire for learning have fueled my life. I come from three generations of business owners who also took risks, so my respect for the American dream runs deep. Being wired this way makes work somewhat personal. It's one part pride, to be resourceful and deliver more than what's expected. The other half is taking a leap of faith when opportunities are presented. My mom always said, "What's the harm in asking for what you want, the worst that can happen is you'll be told is no." So, I relish in reaching for things just out of reach, and with that mindset, I have come across some of the most interesting opportunities and career successes.
Starting with the most recent, I secured Pottery Barn, West Marine (247 stores), and Windstar Cruise Line as customers with my current employer. I orchestrated a "trade" sponsorship with the Pacific Cup 2020. I provided social listening data for Disney's creative team which directed how they would write future Scandal episodes, for a total of 124 episodes. I've sourced and done full marketing audits for over 100 SMB owners in the Pacific Northwest and drove website traffic to all of them, improving each one's bottom line. Just for fun, I saw a need in the market and built an online directory, eventspacehub.com, for private event spaces. This led to sourcing event spaces and logistics for Quickbooks, Microsoft, and Nordstrom. If I don't understand something - I research, I ask questions and network until I figure it out. It's something that comes naturally for the entrepreneur personality type, see my Meyers-Briggs test results below.
